What happens when I delete a project?
Deleting a project permanently removes all drafts and generated images. Credits are not refunded. Download important images before deletion.
Understanding Project Deletion
Project deletion is permanent and irreversible. All project data is immediately destroyed and cannot be recovered.
What Gets Deleted
- Project container (name, description, metadata, statistics)
- All drafts (setup, generating, completed - ALL stages)
- All generated images (variations, edits, upscales)
- Workflow history (prompts, settings, AI chat history)
- Hosted image URLs (external links stop working immediately)
What Does NOT Get Deleted
- Your account and other projects
- Credit balance (no refunds for used credits)
- Downloaded images on your device
Before Deleting: Checklist
- Download Images: Open each draft → Selection/Download step → Select all → "Download Selected"
- Export Documentation: Copy successful prompts, settings, and project details
- Notify Collaborators: Inform anyone using shared links
The Deletion Process
- Open project → Click "..." menu → Select "Delete Project"
- Warning modal appears with deletion details
- Type project name exactly to confirm
- Click "Permanently Delete Project"
- Project deleted immediately, redirected to dashboard
After Deletion:
- Project removed from all views (no undo)
- Credit balance unchanged (no refunds)
- Data purged from servers within 24-30 days
