What should I do if I'm not satisfied with the generated results?

Overview

Unsatisfactory generation results are a normal part of creative exploration—AI image generation involves iterative refinement to align outputs with your vision. GRYYD provides four strategic approaches to improve results, each suited to different scenarios. Understanding when to use each method maximizes efficiency and minimizes wasted credits.

Option 1: Regenerate with Same Settings

When to Use:

• Generated variations show potential but need more options from the same creative direction
• You like the overall style/composition but want to see alternative executions
• Only 1-2 of 4 variations were usable—need more attempts with identical settings

How It Works: On the Selection page, click "Regenerate" button. GRYYD creates new variations using the exact same Setup configuration (same prompt, product photos, aspect ratio, variation count, "What to Vary" selections). AI's inherent randomness produces different outputs even with identical inputs.

Example Scenario: You generated 4 variations with "Product on wooden table, warm lighting, minimalist aesthetic." Three variations are mediocre, but Variation 2 is excellent. Regenerate to create 4 more attempts—you may get 2-3 additional strong candidates without changing any settings.

Credit Consideration: Regeneration consumes the same credits as initial generation (based on variation count). If you generated 4 variations initially (≈20 credits), regeneration costs another ≈20 credits. Budget-efficient when you're close to desired results.

Option 2: Modify Settings and Regenerate

When to Use: Images fundamentally wrong (style, composition, lighting issues) or need to pivot creative direction

How It Works:

1. Click "Back to Setup" or "Edit Settings"
2. Modify: Prompt (add descriptive terms), Reference Images (style guides), Variation Count (increase to 6-8), "What to Vary" (adjust focus), Aspect Ratio
3. Generate with updated configuration

Quick Fixes:

• Too dark? Add: "bright natural daylight, well-lit, airy atmosphere"
• Busy background? Reduce "What to Vary" options + add "clean, simple background"
• Wrong aesthetic? Add reference image + specify style keywords

Most workflows need 2-4 generation rounds to converge on desired aesthetic.

Option 3: Use Specific Image as Style Reference

When to Use: One variation is close but not perfect, or need consistency across multiple images

How It Works:

1. Identify best variation in Selection stage
2. Download and upload as Reference Image in Setup
3. Adjust prompt: "Match lighting and background style from reference"
4. Regenerate—AI creates variations influenced by reference

Advanced Technique: Generate with reference → Select best → AI chat edit (Option 4) for polish

Option 4: AI Chat Editing (Pro/Max Plans)

When to Use: Images 80-90% perfect, need minor refinements, want to preserve successful aspects

How It Works:

1. Select favorites → Click "Continue to Editing"
2. Submit edits: "Move product left," "Brighten background," "Replace with white backdrop"
3. Review in 15-30 seconds, iterate up to 10 edits per image

Efficiency: AI Editing (1-4 credits, 30 sec) vs Regeneration (20 credits, 3-5 min, no preservation guarantee)

Limitation: Pro/Max only. Free users use Options 1-3.

Quick Decision Guide

1. Completely wrong? → Modify Settings (Option 2)
2. Promising but need variety? → Regenerate Same (Option 1)
3. One image close? → Use as Reference (Option 3)
4. 80%+ perfect? → AI Chat Edit (Option 4, Pro/Max)

Pro Strategy: Generate 6-8 exploratory variations → Use best as reference → Generate 3-4 with reference → AI edit for polish (≈40-50 credits, 15-20 min)
